Pink Tea Another Successful Event

On April 17 we were privileged to once again host the North Shore Bad Girls "Pink Tea", a fund-raiser for Hospice of the North Shore.

This group of wonderful women has grown over the years, and has turned invitations to their annual "Bad Girls" get together into one of the most sought-out social events of the season. The group, headed by the self-appointed Queen Bee and Head Bad Girl, Maryann Curtin, likes to get together each year to both have fun, and to support a special mission for the Hospice of the North Shore patients -- and so they raise money to provide those little somethings extra for the residents of this Hospice.

This year the event was themed around the upcoming Royal Wedding, and many of the members and friends of NSBG donated the loan of their antique wedding dresses, which were displayed around the room.

As usual, the event was delightful, and I am happy to report that a record amount of money was generated for Hospice, and everyone seemed to have a grand time.

Favors, program and place cards, done ever so properly.

Tiered tea trays of treats were constantly replenished by the attentive Hawthorne Hotel banquet team.

I hope you enjoy having a glimpse of yet another aspect of the historic Hawthorne Hotel, and I hope to see you here, whether staying in the hotel, enjoying our Tavern or Nathaniel's Restaurants, or at a special event such as this one.
