Yesterday we awarded the Full-Time Employee of the Month Award to a 20-year veteran of the Housekeeping Department, Maria Giampolo. In the photo above you see all of the managers and members of our staff applauding Maria, who returned the favor by applauding all of us. We surprised her in our staff lunch room while everyone was there having lunch.
Maria, who hails from Italy, and is usually quite talkative, was actually speechless at this award.
However, right after we finished taking all these photos, she immediately called her daughter to share the good news, and we could tell that she was extremely pleased.
