If you want a video look at the smashing exhibit, "Golden" which is currently at PEM here in Salem, watch this lovely piece what was on WGBH on Thursday night, March 3.
One of the things about the show that is most lovely is the way in which the objects and paintings are displayed. This show was staged in a very simple, but striking manner, utilizing colors of the walls in each sub-gallery to enhance the objects therein. You will be able to get just a glimpse of that terrific staging in this piece, but you really do need to come and see it in person to truly appreciate how wonderful a job PEM did in this regard.
