Destination Salem's Booth
Carl Richardson, Director of Travel Administration of AAA Southern New England, and Heidi Webb of the House of the Seven Gables, with our very own Thomas MacDonald. Carl was in charge of this entire show!
This couple, Ron and Mary Plutnicki, stopped by our booth to chat with Thomas MacDonald, our Assistant Director of Sales, and they shared with him their association with the Hawthorne Hotel. They were married here 47 years ago. But even more fun than that, was the fact that Ron was a teammate of Michael Harrington (our owner's representative) on the Mapleleaf baseball team, "back when" -- Ron was the pitcher, and Michael played third base!
Keep that fact in your head, because we may use it in an upcoming trivia game. Who knows!?!
