Last year the weather forced a change of date from the Friday after Thanksgiving to the following Friday night. There was such great feedback about the date change that we all decided to make the change permanent, because it allowed more families to get there for this special event, since it did not fall on "Black Friday" when many people are busy with their shopping, and because a lot of people are out of town on that holiday weekend.
