Yesterday a long-time member of our Hawthorne Hotel family, Donna Daly, passed away unexpectedly. This photo blog is posted here for those of you who knew her, and for those of you who did not, so that you might learn a little about this special woman. Donna was a very unique member of our team, working primarily in the heart of the hotel, and unseen by our guests. But what she did was very important to all of us, and the way she did it, always with a smile, was even more important.
Donna loved dogs as much as people!
Donna was a proud and active member of the safety committee.
It was fun to surprise Donna!
Jonah Pringle was Donna's assistant for many, many years, and they
shared a very close bond.
So long, Donna. We will miss you. Heaven is in better hands now that you are there.
