Segway Tours Possibly Coming to Salem

Ever since my husband and I saw a group touring a historic city in Europe on Segways we have wanted to do that ourselves. Recently we learned that there are Segway tours of Boston, so this past Sunday we took one. It was a blast! After we got over the initial panic that the training video gave us, and got our hands-on lesson, we were fine, and we really enjoyed the entire two hours we spent touring Boston. Here are some photos:

Maybe Paul Revere would have enjoyed a Segway ride instead of his horse?

So, you can imagine my enthusiasm when I opened the Salem News this morning to find that there are two people who are hoping to open a similar business here in Salem. Here is a link to that story: http://ht.ly/2BCUX

We certainly hope that this additional option for a cool, contemporary way to visit our historic city is made possible by the City of Salem, and wish Witch City Segway all the best in their efforts!

I hope to see you (and them) here.
