As many of you already know, I am a big fan of the Ropes Mansion Gardens here in Salem. These gardens surround the Ropes Mansion, and are open to the public, free of charge, as part of the stipulations the former owners of this property made in bequeathing it to the Peabody Essex Museum.
I have gotten to know one of our regular guests, in large part because of our shared love of these gardens. Her name is Rhonda, and she was recently back in Salem for a visit, and took these photos.
I asked if I could post them on my blog, and she was kind enough to share them with me. I hope you enjoy seeing them as much as we both do, and I do hope you will make it part of your next visit to Salem, to visit this special place yourself.
Thank you Rhonda, for sharing these great photos with your fellow blog readers!
Juli
