Living with Pets Is a Special Friend of the Hawthorne Hotel's Pet Guests

Living with Pets is a unique pet store located at 63B Wharf Street, on Pickering Wharf.  They not only sell darling pet accessories, but also make organic pet treats.  They make bags of pet treats that we use as a welcome gift for pets staying with us in the Hawthorne Hotel.  They even having a doggie spa now.

Our guests notice.  Here is what one of our "regulars" had to say about their recent visit to the Hawthorne Hotel.  It includes some really nice things about Living with Pets:

We have now stayed in your hotel the last two trips to visit our daughter and son-in-law in Salem, we think your hotel is outstanding! While our first two stays in Salem were at a nice hotel, we always had three flights of stairs, difficulty parking, minimal staffing and we had to leave Buddy at home.

First of all your hotel lobby and rooms are great but more importantly the hotel is staffed with a very friendly and competent people. We have only eaten in your restaurant once but it too was outstanding. And when you say “pet friendly” you really mean it: staff, room, cleanliness, and a pet menu (too cool)! And let’s not forget location, your hotel is very close to everything Salem including the great convenient park for Buddy to run & chase squirrels. The gift at the front desk from Living with Pets is also a good touch (she has a very nice inventory and is also knowledgeable & friendly).

We highly recommend your hotel and just a few months ago our relatives were visiting Salem stayed at The Hawthorne and also enjoyed their stay.

What would a visit to a pet store in #SalemMA be this time of the year without some cool pet costumes for Halloween?!

The treats that we give out guests from Living with Pets are often the Hawthorne "H", all baked and decorated by hand, by this wonderful store.

I hope to see you here, or there!

Happy Friday from San Francisco!

Most of you have heard me complain about our foggy, freezing cold summers. We're finally enjoying a little "Indian Summer" here in San Francisco. Going to try and sneak out to the beach today.

Wishing you a fabulous weekend!

Beautiful "Tiffany Blue" Bridal Shower

The bridal shower that we hosted this past weekend in our Ballroom was unique in its use of "Tiffany Blue" as the color scheme for this event. That one detail was utilized throughout to stunning effect, as you can see from these photos.

"Tiffany Blue" cake with the requisite white "silk" bows.

Simple yet elegant centerpieces.

Favors that matched the theme.

I trust you will like seeing yet another way our Grand Ballroom can be utilized for a special event.

I hope to see you here.
