Ropes Garden, Salem. Ma

On my top ten list of FREE THINGS to do in SALEM, MA is a visit to the Ropes Mansion Gardens.  This historic home and gardens was donated to the Peabody Essex Museum, with the proviso that the gardens be kept open to the public, and PEM has done just that.  They lovingly maintain this historic property, to the benefit of all of Salem, and Salem's visitors.

I hope you enjoy these photos I snapped today on my way to work.  Walking through these gardens is a delightful way to start my day, and they just happen to be right on my way in -- a kind of beauty short-cut!

I hope to see you here, or there!
