Look at Us!

Earlier this week I had to go take some photos of a rudely parked car (blocking our departing guest in, front and back) but while I was outside, I realized it was a beautiful day, and therefore a nice day to take "our" picture.  I thought you might enjoy this look at the Hawthorne Hotel this week, especially the beautiful ivory petunias in our window boxes.

Here is a shot showing our "flags of the day" that change out each and every day, and showcase the countries of the United Nations, and the States and Territories of the USA.
Here you can see our entire front door, from the tip of the flag of the USA to the welcoming entrance on Hawthorne Boulevard, as well as our window boxes.
The ivory petunias are quite lovely this year, with their backdrop of mini-boxwood.

This is the "Common" side of the building, the side where the Tavern and the Ballroom are located, overlooking Salem Common.  Hardly anything common about it!

By the time I was done with these pretty photos, I was a bit less angry about the rudely parked employee of a local entity than I had been.  The flowers made me smile!

I hope you enjoy this look at "us" this week.  And I hope to see you here!

Juli
