Here we are congratulating Manuel Pena as our Employee of the Month, Full-Time, for July. Manuel works for our offsite food service division, Hawthorne Catering, which handles all the food service at the Peabody Essex Museum (PEM) and we are very grateful for all his hard work.

Iris works as a prep cook at the Hawthorne Hotel, and we invited her to come over with us to this presentation so she could see her husband be honored.
Obviously Iris has a great affection for her husband. You can tell he is always a star in her eyes.
I hope you enjoy learning a little bit of what goes on in the "back of the house" both here and in our offsite division.
