Giant Jack-o-Lanterns on River Street

River Street here in Salem is such a special one-block-long narrow little street, and it would not be the same without one of our neighbors, John Carr.

Among numerous other duties (his as self-appointed mayor-for-life of River St.) every year John buys several of the giant pumpkins from the Topsfield Fair and carves them into giant Jack-o-Lanterns. While this year the pickings were a little bit lighter, John still made an outstanding display for us all to enjoy.
