On Wednesday, October 6 we are hosting an event for HAWC, an organization that helps people get out of the cycle of abuse and get healed. In fact, HAWC stands for Healing Abuse, Working for Change.
October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and it is a time to celebrate happy, healthy relationships while embracing ways to free those who are caught in the cycle of abuse.
This dinner is an all-you-can-eat affair, and will be enjoyed in our Grand Ballroom. So if you have never had an opportunity to attend an event in this beautiful room, this is a great chance for you to enjoy a delicious dinner, in beautiful surroundings, and to give back to your community at the same time.
The event welcomes both adults and children, and is very reasonably priced at only $20 per adult and $10 for children ages 4 through 13. The prices are all inclusive of tax and gratuities, and 20% of each meal price will be donated to HAWC.
Here is the menu:
New England Comfort Dinner Buffet
Green Salad with Cranberry Vinaigrette
Chicken Breast with Apples and Pecans, served with Maple-Dijon Sauce
Roasted Port Loin with Apricot-Cornbread Stuffing
Garlic-Mashed Potatoes
Fall Vegetable Medley
Our Chef's Own Macaroni and Cheese
Warm Apple Crisp and Freshly Whipped Cream
For more information, call 978-825-4358. You can also visit HAWC's website, http://www.hawcdv.org/ or our website, http://www.hawthornehotel.com/ .
The evening is casual, and the meal will be available from 5 pm to 8 pm. This is a great way to gather together a group of friends and family to help this terrific organization.
I hope to see you here.
Juli
