A Sheraton hotel in the Latin-American Tour-hotel
Mexico is one of the main tourist destinations in America and continues to invest a hotel of the most attractive, both for mass tourism and luxury tourism.
In 2010 two new luxury hotels will be launched in Mexico, one in Mexico and one in Guadalajara. In Mexico it is a symbol of the city, the Latin-American Tower (Torre Latinoamericana), which will be transformed into a hotel in Guadalajara and a new Holiday Inn Express will be launched.
The Latin-American Tower will be remodeled to house the rooms of the Sheraton hotel which will occupy 19 of the 44 floors of the famous skyscraper in the city, right in the Historic Center of Mexico. To carry out this project 5 million will be spent on the development of this 5 star hotel.
The hotel will be located between the 16th and 35th floor of Tower Latin American and employ 160 people caring power of customers staying in the luxurious.
The Latin-American Tower will also house a museum dedicated to the earthquake that devastated Mexico City in 1985, and telecommunications.
Tourists will always have access to the lookout at the top of the tower and provides a marvelous view over the vast city.
The Latin-American Tower, built between 1948 and 1956, was for a long time the tallest building in Mexico City. Built on unstable ground and in a region of high seismicity, the tower has broken records in the construction of skyscrapers.
The date for the opening of the Sheraton Hotel is planned for the month of September 2010, months which will celebrate the bicentennial of the Independence of Mexico.
In addition, the InterContinental Hotels Group has announced the opening in 2010 the Holiday Inn Express Expo Guadalajara, the 24th of this brand in Mexico.
Located in a busy commercial area of the city of Guadalajara, this hotel has cost 8 million euros. Aimed at both business travelers and tourists, the Holiday Inn Express Guadalajara has 152 rooms including 12 suites, 88 double rooms and 52 superior.
The hotel guests will also have a gymnasium and an indoor pool.
